Evaluation Before Repair
A repair recommendation should be tied to observations and measurements. Cosmetic damage can be important evidence, but repair decisions should not be based on appearance alone.
Foundation Stabilization
When additional support is needed, a repair plan may use piers or other support systems selected for the structure and site. Installation depth, spacing, access, and the behavior of the structure can all affect the scope.
Leveling and Support Correction
Some repairs involve controlled elevation adjustments, shimming, beam or joist work, or changes to existing support points. The goal is an appropriate structural correction, not simply forcing every floor surface to be perfectly level.
Drainage and Moisture
Drainage and moisture management may be relevant when water conditions contribute to soil movement or crawlspace problems. They should complement—not replace—structural work when structural support is actually needed.
